It’s been about a month since the last update, and boy has a lot changed! We got the region, and the photo above is the map of it. Half of the region is rentals, which you can take a peek at here. Obviously, the big M is the M-ain attraction; Multiverse! The black and red zone is a rez area for Second Life boaters, and there’s plenty of water around for them to ride around to their heart’s content. Across the sand from the club is a mini mall, where people can pick up a small satellite shop, click the rental kiosks to be directed right to our land page, or even grab an ad board to advertise their services. The black yacht at the middle top of the island has actually moved a little bit, but it, and the sky above it, is a voice lounge. The sky lounge is our old lounge club, just repurposed for those who love to have a voice chat with friends, or make new ones! We also offer games near the landing, and of course, the whole beach island for people to connect, hang out, or even possibly have some private time in the sand.
The rentals are already being scooped up quicker than we expected, and that’s not even all of it! We have hired two new DJ’s today; DJs Cain and Ananda. So welcome to our team, guys! We are thrilled to have you aboard.
Another major update is we have started sponsoring Whiskey Girls Mag. Our ads are shown in their mags, and we have two kiosks on our island for you to pick up your own copy of their mag, or subscribe for monthly updates and be the first to get new editions of the magazine!
Future plans are a lot to do with the website and further streamlining our club here on the interwebs. We are making a “feedback form”, where people can give us their honest feedback, to help us improve or encourage us to keep up what they like! We are also increasing our stream bitrate to 320 in the next week or so, to allow our DJs to come to you louder and clearer.
We’ve switched up our music rules a little. Or rather, put one on paper that has already been in practice. This is a big one and one we feel strongly about. Absolutely no AI music will be played at our club. Also, our logos and photos will never be generated or enhanced with AI. We cannot stop our DJs from using AI photos for themselves, but we do pride ourselves on being one of the last “no AI” clubs on the grid, since so many are changing their photos to AI generated content. We take this very seriously. We will never change these rules. It’s that simple, because it’s that important. Our club bot used to have a chat feature, which used a GPT model, but we also removed that. Everything is all us. We don’t need AI to be successful! <3
