Ignore my poor drawing skills, but since we don’t have it yet, this is the best option I had to show what we have in the works. Next month, we are purchasing a full region! Half of it will be parcel rentals, while the bottom half will be the club, a beach, a rez area, and other cool things we are still brainstorming. The region will be Adult rather than the current Moderate level we are on.
Why? I’ve had the urge to try to start up real estate, and the best way to do that is with a full region, then work out from there, once it gains traction. I absolutely expect to pay out more than I’m getting in, but that comes with the territory. New jobs require certain risks haha. And all in all, having a full region gives us more control over how we use it, especially when upgrading from Linden land.
The current parcel will remain in my name, but it will just have a sign on it with a landmark giver to the new place. This is because I’m a premium member and still get to keep my piece of mainland, which is what Multiverse has always been on. Now it just gets to be a backup land in case the region falls through for whatever reason.
Once getting the region terraformed and set up the way I want it, I’m going to aggressively promote the club, beach and rentals. Also, the games we offer, like fishing, butterfly catching and Crystal Craze will no longer be in the club itself. With more room around us, Crystal Craze will have its own little island, fishers will be on the water, because it just makes sense, and butterflies will be near there as well.
Onto other, non-land related news: the bot changed a bit too. We had a lot of complaints about her being annoying, and most of it had to do with her waypoints, and walking around the club while dancing. This would sometimes land her too close to people, or have her push people around. I’ve changed that. She will still be just as annoying in promoting us, but she will stand still on a pose stand on the dance floor, and hopefully out of everyone’s way. It was never my goal to make her impose on anyone, so to see that she was meant I needed to make some changes. This is just a reminder that I also won’t be offended if you block her so she doesn’t spam your chat with messages, too. I totally understand it. Haha. Though, she does get updated with important updates, so if you want to stay informed, it’s best not to do that. Don’t worry, she annoys me too, sometimes, and I created all the things she says lol.
Ooooh, real quick, back to the land, I think the lounge will be retired. The event stage has had a much better critical reception, it’s more unique, compared to the lounge, and personally, I just love it, and patrons seem to as well. Also, I don’t really want things in the sky above Multiverse that aren’t easy to get to, because the landing style of that land will be “anywhere”, to make things easier for the games, beach goers and boaters who may only want to teleport into certain places, rather than always be near the club. The actual landing point will be between the club and a mall area, where people will be able to rent shops. Nearby will be ad boards and another area for escort boards, and near the club will be a teleporter that will take you all around the land we have for Multiverse. The lounge wouldn’t really fit in all of that, so it’s just going to be retired entirely. I could use the box from time to time if we have some type of event that needs to look more “ritzy”, but then i will just place it in the same spot as the default club. I also don’t know if I will be doing that at all.
I’m very excited for what the future has in store for us! Hopefully more visitors of many different kinds, and still all the fun we have had for the past (almost) year! Thank you again for being a part of Multiverse, and see you soon with a region update!
