Hey all! We have a new feature at Multiverse, that will hopefully be improved as time goes on, but is still great as is! See that blue poseball? That is an open stage system. the rotating Multiverse box on the front of the booth has a notecard with a special DJ account on our stream, as well as instructions, fully automating our open stage functions in the club. There had been a spike of interest in stuff like this, so I just went for it.
The downside here is that the system also allows for a Corrade bot to post notices when someone goes live. The problem is, I really screwed up my Corrade bot, so that part isn’t functional. Instead, I’ve told people to join the VIP group to send their notice in the chat, and I will also come and add them to the DJ role in the VIP group, so they can send official notices. That lovely little box also gives an invite to the staff group in chat, so they can access the DJ tip jar in the club. I’ve been in contact with the creator of the open stage system to see if we could get the club bot to send these notices instead of a Corrade. I don’t see myself trying the Corrade route again lol.
That all being said, we HAVE used the bot to have our group chat post to the Discord server, and responses on discord also go to the inworld group! We also have a chat relay in the club to post local chat into the server, so even people who aren’t inworld can enjoy the tunes on our website, and keep up with the chat on discord. I’ve also made our news feed from this website go to the “club updates” channel on Discord, so no one misses a beat in seeing what’s new and exciting.
I’m pretty excited for these changes, and I hope more people will come to DJ for us, no strings attached. <3 Stay tuned for more updates! I’m always tinkering :3
